To celebrate National Ice Cream Day 2023, Museum Of Ice Cream hosted Sprinkle Pool Parties in Austin, Chicago, and New York City! This 2-day event took place on July 15 & 16 and was absolutely free to attend, complete with swag, raffles, free ice cream by Friendly’s, and the world’s largest outdoor sprinkle party!
Fans enthusiastically lined up at New York City’s Hudson Yards Public Square & Gardens where they were greeted by both MOIC & Friendly’s staff and were handed chocolates, Friendy’s vouchers, and even sunglasses designed with a printed sprinkles pattern.
Once inside, attendees had 5 minutes to enjoy the Sprinkle Pool, followed by a choice of vanilla or chocolate fudge sundae cups. While there was a limit of 1 per person, who doesn’t love free ice cream! Some lucky early birds were even able to enjoy Limited Edition Museum Of Ice Cream PATH water bottles.
All this while enjoying all that Hudson Yards has to offer, from the beautiful copper-colored Vessel to the breathtaking Edge NYC. There was even a live performance of Mozart For Munchkins going on for free in the neighboring Hudson Yards Backyard. And, of course, you can still visit Museum Of Ice Cream Wednesday through Monday in New York City (558 Broadway, New York, NY, 10012).
