Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience transports the magic of Ancient Egypt right before your very eyes. With nine visual galleries to explore, this multi-sensory experience tells you the story of King Tutankhamun in a way like you’ve never seen before. 100 years since the discovery of King Tut’s tomb (1922), learn about the legendary boy king, including his life, his death, and beyond… Each gallery looks into a different aspect of King Tut such as his family, his favorite belongings, and even his burial chamber.
In place of artifacts, this exhibition combines the power of cinematic storytelling & soaring imagery through the spectacular use of screens & projectors. There were, however, incredible replicas on display like the Golden Throne of Tutankhamun (above, for photo ops) and a reproduction of the Tutankhamun mummy:
Suitable for all ages, Beyond King Tut takes about one hour to tour and is an exciting way to take in the pharaoh’s rich 3,000+ year history. On top of all of the informational panels to read, there are multiple video presentations for visual learners. Plus a giant playable version of the most popular ancient Egyptian board game, Senet:
