My Top 5 Super Bowl LVIII Commercials

Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs for their 25-22 win against the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII! It was the 7th longest in NFL history and the first back-to-back win since the Patriots (2004-2005).

Such a great game, and being in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium, it was incredible seeing them also utilize the state of the art Sphere for the team intros! And how about Usher’s incredible Apple Music Halftime Show with cameos from Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, Ludacris, will.i.am, Jermaine Dupri, and H.E.R.! But as always, let’s take a look at my favorite commercials from Super Bowl LVIII, which reportedly cost $7 million for a 30 second ad.

This year’s Super Bowl definitely didn’t hold back because they were some of the best ads we’ve seen in a while! Here they are, in order of airing:

1. Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer

On air they only showed a teaser of this teaser. But the debut of the full teaser online was worth the (temporary) detour from the game! As Disney’s only MCU theatrical release this year, it’s a must-see this summer!

2. BMW’s “Talkin Like Walken”

Who doesn’t enjoy a Christopher Walken impression? …turns out it’s Christopher Walken! But it’s hilarious to see his reaction as people attempt to do their best in this BMW ad with a surprise appearance by Usher.

3. Arnold Schwarzenegger is Agent State Farm

They’ve been teasing this commercial for some time now and waiting for the full cut tonight paid off! Fans of Arnold’s 90s work will appreciate this one for sure.

4. The DunKings

Dunkin’ has also been pushing multiple online promos featuring Ben Affleck leading up to the Super Bowl. The “DunKings” ad that ran during the game was perfect, poking fun at Ben & Jennifer Lopez while also including cameos by Jack Harlow, Tom Brady, Fat Joe, and Matt Damon!

5. Paramount+

Patrick Stewart throwing Arnold… need I say more? Paramount+ consistently makes funny ads and this one was easily one of their more memorable ones.
