Greg Hildebrandt: A Special Art Exhibit

A selection of world-renowned artist Greg Hildebrandt’s works are on display at Lake Hopatcong Foundation in Landing, NJ. From now until June 23, 2025, experience this limited engagement exhibit featuring paintings, sketches, and art books, thanks to Jean Scrocco and Spiderweb Art Gallery. The exhibit is free to attend and a memorable way to honor and celebrate Greg’s legacy & impact.

Among the illustrations on view are 25 iconic pieces from Greg’s career including a 1977 Star Wars poster signed & remarqued by The Brothers Hildebrandt (both Greg & his twin brother Tim), “Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin” from Marvel Comics’ Avengers #16 (2019), pages 13 & 39 from DC Comics’ Superman: The Last God Of Krypton (1999), paintings of Alice and the Footman from Alice In Wonderland (1990), the Tin Man & Wizard from Wizard Of Oz (1985), a self portrait from the 1970s, as well as some of Greg’s religious paintings like “Tribute To The Pieta” (1998), “Michael The Archangel” (1997), and “The Day The Angels Cried” by Greg & Tim from 9/11.

The main gallery is accompanied by information cards with descriptions & pricing when applicable. Most items are for sale, while some have already sold at the Opening Reception, and others are marked NFS (Not For Sale). But the sale of these pieces along with signed posters/prints and portfolios filled with hundreds of sketches not only supports Spiderweb Art Gallery but also partially benefits Lake Hopatcong Foundation.

This is an unbelievable opportunity to get a glimpse of Greg Hildebrandt’s prolific work through the decades. Be sure to check out all of the various properties he’s worked on: Lord Of The Rings, Robin Hood, Pinocchio, Dracula, Wolverine, Treasure Island, WWE, Sheena, and so many others! There’s even a brief history of The Brothers Hildebrandt posted alongside some photos of Greg. For more information on this exhibit and Lake Hopatcong Foundation, visit the official LHF website.
