Now through August 24, 2025, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia, PA presents Porsche: The Exhibition. A curated showcase of iconic Porsche models, this exhibition features 30 participating cars as old as a 1958 Porsche-Diesel 218 tractor and as new as a 2024 Porsche Boxster GTS 4.0. This special display is a must-see collection inside a one-of-a-kind museum:

Since 1931, Porsche has been a name synonymous with design & engineering, and this exhibition makes it clear why. With a wide range of form and function, each Porsche on display is significant in its own way, whether it’s the sleek Boxster Spyder or the street-legal 904 race car. Visitors can see these models up close along with the timeless 911, the Cayman, and many more, accompanied by digital adverts and other Porsche-related videos playing throughout the exhibit!

While most of the participating cars are on loan, the 1970 Porsche 917 LH (above, left) & 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (above, right) are permanent staples of the incredible Simeone Museum, which already houses more than 75 historically significant cars… which means until August 24, there will be over 100 sports cars under one roof! Each area of the museum places the cars (which are pridefully preserved and not restored) in period-accurate environments so that you can fully appreciate these automobiles in their “natural habitats”:

Among the various environments of the museum are the historic Italian “Mille Miglia” race (above), the prestigious French “24 Hours of Le Mans” race, and the museum’s “Salon” which features two dozen American and European cars from every decade. And don’t forget to check out each car’s gallery placard for general information & trivia: every car is unique and every car has a story!

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum also hosts Demo Days where some of these amazing vehicles come to life during themed events. But whether you visit the museum for the Porsche Exhibition or for their other displays, Dr. Fred Simeone’s collection offers an exciting experience for both car enthusiasts and history buffs of all ages!
