Toys R Us is opening new stores nationwide, just in time for the 2025 Holiday Season! Among the expected 8 flagship stores and 20 temporary holiday shops are 7 right here on the East Coast, including seasonal locations in New Jersey’s Deptford Mall (below) and Pennsylvania’s King of Prussia Mall (opening soon), as well as permanent locations planned for Hanover, MD and Deer Park, NY.
These temporary locations are the result of a partnership with Go! Retail Group, which mall-goers may recognize as Go! Calendars, Toys & Games. Inside is a condensed version of what you would find at a flagship store, but still everything you need to be a Toys R Us kid this holiday season: Transformers, Barbie, WWE & sports figures, board games, Monster High, learning & beauty toys, blind bags, Star Wars & Marvel toys, assorted trading cards like sports, Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh… and plenty of classic toys like Rubik’s Cubes, UNO, Nerf, LEGO, and, of course, Toys R Us brand toys like Geoffrey plushies! Plus you can expect to find way more at a flagship location:
The first Toys R Us flagship store, in fact, has already had a home at New Jersey’s American Dream Mall (above) since the popular retail store’s epic return in 2021. Followed by a second flagship opening at Minnesota’s Mall of America in 2023, the brand has continued to expand and now has official sections in over 400 Macy’s department stores including Bridgewater Commons (below):
