Jack Kirby: From The Ghetto To The Cosmos (Jack Kirby Museum NYC Pop-Up Exhibit)

The Jack Kirby Museum is back in NYC for a limited time with a one-of-a-kind exhibit! “Jack Kirby: From The Ghetto To The Cosmos” is on view through December 7, 2025 inside One Art Space in Manhattan’s Tribeca, complete with a walkthrough experience of the King of Comics’ life and career.

Inside the pop-up, read a little about NYC-born-and-raised Jack Kirby’s amazing story before entering an immersive exhibit featuring art from his work on Richard Kyle’s “Street Code!”, original art from various DC & Marvel Comics from the 70s & 80s, enlarged recreations, a closer look at comic panels, jumbo treasury-style books, and even replica Celestial helmets that you can actually try on!

As the creator of countless iconic characters and worlds, including The Avengers, Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Darkseid, Big Barda, and The New Gods, comic book fans will appreciate seeing larger than life displays all around the exhibit… especially the black light tent (below), where a dozen pieces showcase Kirby’s signature perspectives, visual storytelling, and unmistakable “Kirby Krackle”. See characters like Captain America, Silver Surfer, Thor, and Etrigan the Demon:

“Jack Kirby: From The Ghetto To The Cosmos” at One Art Space (23 Warren St. New York, NY) is open daily from 12pm-6pm through December 7, 2025. Admission is a $5 suggested donation & free for museum members. The pop-up also has a small gift shop area and will be hosting various special events & programming throughout its run, so be sure to visit the Kirby Museum website for more information.
