In partnership with Poster House, Chelsea Market in New York City is hosting a pop-up exhibition of original movie posters by award-winning designer Dawn Baillie. A follow-up to 2024’s “The Anatomy of a Movie Poster” at Poster House, this updated gallery now has 32 posters on view, ranging from the iconic Dirty Dancing poster from 1987 to as recent as 2023’s Barbie.
Thanks to curator Angelina Lippert, cinephiles who missed the original 2023 exhibition now have a great opportunity to experience this display. See how many posters you recognize, from The Silence of the Lambs (1991) to Nacho Libre (2006), all accompanied by museum labels with film information, background, and even insight behind the poster designs!
