My Top 5 Super Bowl LX Commercials

The Seattle Seahawks’ final score (29-13 against the New England Patriots) and Bad Bunny’s halftime show viewership weren’t the only numbers soaring from Super Bowl LX! The 60th annual NFL championship game also boasted a memorable rendition of The Star Spangled Banner performed by Charlie Puth and also saw record numbers for its many trending commercials.

This year’s 30-second ad spot once again started at $8 million, with some spots exceeding $10 million! While there were many that hit all-time lows… we’re here to talk about what we found to be some of the best! So here are some of our favorites, in order of airing:

1. The Choice – Pepsi

Starting off strong early on, Pepsi not only pokes fun at the competition but also at some (relatively) current events! Seeing the iconic polar bears getting “caught” on camera with Pepsi cans, a la Coldplay concert, was not on my 2026 bingo card!

2. Good Will Dunkin

Dunkin’ had been teasing this ad in the days leading up to the Super Bowl and it was definitely worth the wait! A digitally de-aged Ben Affleck is joined by other 1995 celebrities in this “alternate” version of Good Will Hunting. Dunkin’ even kept the joke going into the rest of the week with additional test footage posted on socials and a promo code that gave out 1.995 million (get it?) free large hot or iced coffees!

3. What’s Your Favorite? – Pokemon

This Pokemon ad unexpectedly & abruptly became a Pokemon ad, and before you knew it, we had Lady Gaga singing Jigglypuff’s song, Trevor Noah imitating Psyduck, and other icons answering Pokemon’s 30th anniversary question: “What’s Your Favorite?”… And clearly it resonated with many people because it’s one of the most watched Super Bowl ads since its debut!

4. Bananas – Instacart

Was there a more unlikely duo on Super Bowl Sunday than Ben Stiller and Benson Boone? Yet it featured a somewhat catchy jingle, flips, and I guess bananas? Just goes to show that Instacart knows how to have fun!

5. Pringleleo – Pringles

What some people don’t realize is that Sabrina Carpenter has always had great comedic timing! And now everybody was able to see her showcase it in this ridiculous ad about constructing a partner out of Pringles.

And just because, here are some honorable mentions because sometimes top 5 just isn’t enough: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Minions & Monsters, and Jurassic Xfinity.
