“I Love Lucy” premiered 75 years ago on October 15, 1951, and a special memorabilia collection was on view at the East Brunswick Public Library in February 2026. Curated by a local enthusiast, this display boasted over 70 collectibles from the iconic television series starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

On display were a vintage poster of Lucy & Ricky, a life-size Lucy cardboard cutout, books, photos, trading cards, and assorted decor & personal items such as figurines, socks, snacks, signage, watches, and even a snow globe. These collectibles, much like “I Love Lucy” itself, span multiple eras, reflecting the show’s timeless appeal and continued popularity through decades of syndication on programs such as Nick at Nite, TV Land, and modern streaming services. How will you be celebrating “I Love Lucy” this year?
