The first ever Kubert School Comic Con debuted on July 23, 2023 on the main & upper levels of the Dover, NJ school. Featuring dozens of comic book vendors and artists, this one-day show was co-sponsored by Pug Productions / NJ Comic Book Shows.
The event ran from 10am-4pm and half the proceeds from the $5 admission went towards an upcoming scholarship for a Kubert School student. And in addition to all of the great comic book finds from reputable local vendors, auctions were being held all day for fantastic deals you could only find at “KubieCon!”
This first Kubert School Comic Con also had an incredible roster of artists, including some of the school’s faculty, alumni, and many more. Names like: Tom Mandrake, Jan Duursema, Michael Kraiger, Kim DeMulder, Fernando Ruiz, Anthony Marques, Chris Campana, Nick Caponi, Len Danovich, and over a dozen others! This was definitely a show for comic book fans, by comic book fans. So if you’re looking to pick up some amazing books and even some original art, check out the next Kubert School Comic Con!
