Northeast Sports Card Expo 2023 (Stamford, CT)

Northeast Sports Card Expo has hosted some of the largest trading card shows in the region, including last month’s event in Portland, ME and the two previously held in Quincy, MA. On October 7 & 8, the Armon Hotel was home to the very first Stamford, CT edition. Hundreds of vendor tables filled the hotel’s atrium & banquet spaces… not to mention a star-studded guest list for signings, meet & greets, and more!

Inside the Northeast Sports Card Expo was everything you would hope to find at a card show: raw & graded sports cards, non-sports including Star Wars & TCG like Pokemon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and tons of sealed product! We’re talking about packs, hobby boxes, blasters, tins… you name it! Some vendors were even selling trading card supplies like sleeves, One Touch cases, slab holders, and other collectibles like action figures, Funko Pops, comic books, jerseys, helmets, and balls.

Imagine all of the best card vendors under one roof: TNTNORTHNJ, PoWr Collectibles, Kid Motors, Immaculate Cards, The Cardboard Heavyweights, Murph’s Card Town & Sports Shop, and SMR Collectibles (who was even accepting submissions for PSA grading)… just to name a few! Complete your sets, try your hand at some mystery bags, pick up autographed cards or game-used memorabilia, and be prepared for the abundance of slabs:

New England’s very own The Grading Authority was also on-site, offering deals on Raw Grade Reviews and submissions for encapsulation:

Plus, fans had the opportunity to meet special guests Gerald Wilkins, Jim Calhoun, Marlon Starling, Doc Gooden, Chris Smith (below), and a dozen others! All kinds of personal items were being signed all weekend, from trading cards to posters and everything in between:

On top of all of that, it was so great to see the Northeast Sports Card Expo show some love to Connecticut by commissioning CT artist Eric Panke for the exclusive Stamford show poster, partnering with Quinnipiac University’s Lauren Knight for charity, and inviting local food trucks Gebril’s Ice Cream, Old World Pizza Truck, and Daniel’s Food Truck. Be sure to keep an eye out on the Northeast Sports Card Expo website for upcoming show announcements!
