The very first Masters of Your Memories took place on December 30, 2023 in the west wing of Rockaway Townsquare. Just as its name implies, this all-new show assembles key figures from your childhood memories! There were special guests from wrestling, boxing, hockey, and even actors from The Sopranos & Power Rangers:
The event ran from 10am-4pm and gave fans of all ages the opportunity to meet such stars as Roger Velasco (above), Ted DiBiase, Tito Santana, Jay Alford, Buster Douglas, Will Janowitz, Rob Van Dam, Selwyn Ward, and NY Rangers left wing Sean Avery (below):
For an additional fee you could have your picture taken or get your favorite collectibles signed, whether you brought your own or wanted to pick one up from a guest’s table selection. There were also a dozen vendor tables to browse & shop from, whether you’re looking for wrestling memorabilia (toys, posters, cards, video tapes, belts), Funko Pops, graded trading cards, or already signed collectibles (photos, gloves, pucks, caps, and balls)…
All the while you could enjoy the rest of what Rockaway Townsquare has to offer, on top of plenty of free mall parking. So who knows what other throwbacks Masters of Your Memories has planned for next time! Be sure to stay tuned on their website & social media for upcoming event announcements.
