SCG Con made its Hartford, CT debut from February 2-4, bringing over a dozen trading card game vendors, several special guests & artists, and hundreds of tables for Magic: The Gathering, Flesh & Blood, and Lorcana gaming all weekend long!
Held at the Connecticut Convention Center, you can expect to find TCG products & supplies from dealers like host Star City Games (above), Magnolia Games, Level Up Games MD, MightyMeeple, TOA Magic, and Strike Zone, who brought their best singles from Magic: The Gathering, Flesh & Blood, Lorcana, and even some Pokemon & One Piece TCG, too! But since SCG Con mainly revolves around MTG, FAB, and Lorcana events, it was clear that was where the product selection focused.
Feast your eyes on singles and highly sought after sealed products like packs and booster boxes! Then hop into one of the many games happening each day: MTG Modern, FAB Super Armory, Lorcana Core Constructed, and so much more… Plus, incredible prizes for the winners!
Other opportunities included meeting special guests like content creators AGirlNamedRon, Azz, Ian, Lua Stardust, Mental Misplay, and Rebell Son, as well as artists RK Post, Phil Stone, and Jeff Laubenstein. All the while you could also make trades with other attendees or even consult the dealers on-site for sales, trades, and appraisals:
Many booths have Hot Lists, trade-in bonuses, cash buy lists, and other ways to incentivize potential acquisitions, so definitely shop around before making a decision!
