Anime Matsuri is a one-day anime celebration at Japan Village in Brooklyn, NY. Sponsored by Japan Village, Book Off, and Tenshi & Zilla, nearly 30 artists & vendors took over the venue’s second floor on March 16 selling art prints, buttons & enamel pins, stickers, acrylics, plushies, Funko Pops & statues, snacks, lenticulars, and trading cards… not to mention all of the other retail & dining options that Japan Village has to offer!
From 11am-7pm anime fans were filing into the event, some even in costume for the Book Off Cosplay Contest that was held in the afternoon! And the best part is that admission to Anime Matsuri was free, which leaves you with more to spend on food, collectibles, and even some autographs from voice actor Emily Cramer who was the special guest of the day:
