PAX East 2024 (20th Anniversary)

PAX has begun to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year starting with PAX East in Boston, MA from March 21-24. As a gaming convention, not only is it dedicated to video & tabletop gaming (including arcades, board games, and TCG/CCG) but the cultural & community aspects as well! PAX East 2024 pulled out all the stops with indie & household name game developers, meetups & paneling, special guests, tournaments, and all kinds of freeplay available the entire weekend.

Held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, some of PAX East’s exciting exhibitors and immersive brand activations were Nintendo, Pokemon, Mtn Dew Gaming, Atari, Dunkin’, Final Fantasy XIV Online, Qiddiya Gaming, Dune Awakening, and Akira Toriyama’s Sand Land. So many of the booths made for fun photo ops… not to mention the plethora of interactive activities, demos, and giveaways! (Below: fans had the opportunity to add chalk art to a beautiful hand painted Pokemon mural at the Nintendo booth.)

Hear about up & coming board games, experience the benefits of state-of-the-art gaming peripherals, or even learn to play some of the newest card games from companies like UniVersus, Kess Entertainment, and Fantasy Flight Games… all while shopping for the products you need and rubbing shoulders with like-minded fans. Whether you’re looking for dice trays, Magic: The Gathering cards, or even gaming apparel, PAX East has something for all types of gamers!

Aside from the Expo Hall, there are a number of other ways to enjoy PAX East. We’re talking about food trucks, speedruns, classic console rooms, pin trading, cosplay meetups, and performances & panels from over 75 special guests including streamers, gamers, designers, podcasters, and cosplayers. And not to worry, you’ll see tons of impressive cosplay all over PAX:
