Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church of West Nyack, NY hosted its 52nd annual Greek Festival from June 6-9, 2024, complete with homemade Greek food & pastries, beverages, games & rides, live music & dancing, and a vendor village:

Over a dozen different vendors were selling under the main tent, some even donating proceeds to the church. You can find items for sale such as jewelry, woodwork, books, art, housewares, and apparel. Each area of the festival was tented, whether you were dining or getting a refill on a variety of drinks including sodas, wines, beers, and hard seltzers.

And plenty of food to choose from! A pastry tent with baklava, kolourakia, kourambiedes, diples, and portokalopita… A taverna tent with grilled lamb, octopus, keftedes, shrimp, and spanakorizo… A meal tent with gyro/chicken/pork platters, assorted pita sandwiches, souvlaki sticks, dolmades, loukoumades, tiropita, pastichio, and hummus… And even a fast food tent with options like burgers and hot dogs! All this while Greek music plays throughout the festival and sets the mood.

With carnival-esque rides, games, and a mirror house, the Greek Festival is family friendly & great for all ages. There’s even a ring toss game for adults to win some wine! But at the end of the day, the whole weekend is an appreciation of Greek traditions and culture. The festival is completely free to attend but donations are welcomed online and at the church, which you are free to visit during the event:
