Garden State Comic Fest pulled out all the stops to celebrate their 10th year as ‘New Jersey’s coolest comic con’! Returning to Morristown’s Mennen Arena on June 22 & 23, GSCF once again boasted an Artist Alley with over 100 creators, hundreds of vendor tables filled with the best collectibles around, and even media guests like Albert Bouchard, Gregg Berger, Keone Young, and Pitch Perfect’s Alexis Knapp.
Despite the intense heat wave hitting the region, fans still showed up to shop the wide range of collectibles for sale: comic books, action figures & Funko Pops, copper art, trading cards, LEGO, and much more! And at the Mennen Arena you not only have one, but two halls (à la skating rinks) to explore all that Garden State Comic Fest has to offer.
All the while you can enjoy panels each day, meet professional cosplayers, or get autographs from special guests like prolific voice actor Billy West (above) and comic book writers & artists like Walt & Louise Simonson, Darryl Banks, Ron Marz, Graham Nolan, Fabian Nicieza, Chris Campana, Keith Williams, and many others who were signing, sketching, and striking up conversation both days of the convention. Even young fans were enjoying the 10th anniversary celebration, meeting TMNT artists like Jim Lawson (below) and dressing up, too:
And if you’re cosplaying, be on alert! One of GSCF’s secret cosplay judges might be scouting you out for the annual social media cosplay contest. So be sure to fine-tune those props and make those final touches because next year’s winner could very well be you!

All that… and so much more! This year’s Garden State Comic Fest also featured experiences such as free video game play, a Wild Bill’s soda wagon, face painting, the annual charity art auction, and an appearance by the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 and 1966 Batmobile right outside the Mennen Arena:
