Connecticut’s very own TERRIFICON returned to the Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort from August 16-18 for another weekend filled with comics, collectibles, and all things pop culture. And this year’s TERRIFICON just may have been more terrific than ever with incredible appearances by actor Keanu Reeves (creator of the comic BRZRKR) on Friday, legendary artist Jim Lee (DC Comics Chief Creative Officer) on Saturday, and MCU actor Charlie Cox (Daredevil) on Sunday!
TERRIFICON has always been a comic convention through and through. While there are a few dozen media guests (including this year’s Cobie Smulders, Tom Welling, Michael Rooker, Dante Basco, Eric Vale, and Larry Kenney), the focus definitely still lies in the amazing comic-related lineup. We’re talking about creators like Greg Capullo, Mark Bagley, Chris Claremont, Scott Snyder, Adam Hughes, Mark Waid, Walter Simonson, Jim Starlin, Skottie Young, Keith Williams, Chris Campana (below) and a hundred other industry names…
Plus over 300 other artists & vendors set up to sell all kinds of art and collectibles: original covers & pages, prints & posters, action figures, apparel, Funko Pops, trading cards, autographed memorabilia, LEGO, raw & graded comic books… If you collect it, then TERRIFICON’s got it. And with the con’s special Daredevil 60th Anniversary celebration, you can collect your favorite comic book issues, meet the writers & artists for signatures, and even have the option to get those very books graded with companies like CBCS and CGC (via Captured Collectibles, Agents of Slabs, or JJL Collectibles).
From bargain books to grail finds, TERRIFICON is the place to be if you’re hunting for some elusive comics.
