What an action-packed weekend at the 12th annual Rhode Island Comic Con, the biggest show in the smallest state! From November 1-3, hundreds of celebrities, artists, and vendors filled up the Rhode Island Convention Center & Amica Mutual Pavilion. Among them were names like comic book creators John Romita Jr. & Fabian Nicieza, Scream franchise cast members, Star Wars voice actors, and an incredible Back To The Future reunion of Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Tom Wilson… Pretty heavy, Doc!

So many fans came through for this year’s event, including cosplayers (above), collectors, and fans of all kinds. Rhode Island Comic Con not only brings in stars for autograph opportunities but professional photo ops and panels, too! After your meet & greets, walk away with incredible memories and mementos… not to mention plenty of collectibles & memorabilia for sale on both RICC’s show floor & AMP’s concourses: comic books, Funko Pops, anime merch, LEGO, trading cards, plush dolls, prop replicas like lightsabers, and so much more.

From kids activities to immersive pop-ups (this year’s exclusive was The Blockbuster Experience), there certainly is no shortage of things to see & do at Rhode Island Comic Con. Plus TCG & videogaming tournaments, tattoo artists, and, as always, a slew of iconic vehicle replicas like the Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, Jurassic Park Jeep, Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee, Resident Evil police cruiser, a life-size Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and a fitting appearance of the DeLorean Time Machine.

Meanwhile in Artist Alley, nearly a hundred illustrators & writers were available for original art commissions and signings, with CGC’s JSA & Captured Collectibles on-site for authentication & grading options! That means the Greg Horn art print you got signed can get a certificate of authenticity, or that Mike DeCarlo sketch (below) you picked up can get encapsulated (or “slabbed”) for extra peace of mind. And even better, these services were offered inside both venues!

If you’ve never attended Rhode Island Comic Con before, be sure to plan out your day(s)! Many autograph & photo op tickets can be purchased early to save time and to avoid the possibility of time slots selling out. The official RICC app is also helpful with schedules, maps, and other pertinent information for the weekend. Lastly, you don’t want to miss out on tickets! With single day, 3-day, and VIP badge options (and kids discounts), there are so many ways to enjoy your trip to Rhode Island Comic Con.

With this year’s Rhode Island Comic Con having already outgrown last year’s offerings, who knows what’ll be in store for RICC 2025… which is announced to happen November 7-9, 2025! Until then, check out our photo gallery as well as a video recap below:
