Pokemon Market was a full day of all things Pokemon inside the glass-walled ballroom at Bell Works NJ on November 30, 2024. Hosted by Ocean, NJ’s very own Liquid Games, this marketplace welcomed in hundreds upon hundreds of Pokemon fans to shop for their favorite kinds of collectibles: trading cards, Funko Pops, art prints, ceramics, and so much more!
The event ran from 10am-6pm (with a 9am VIP entry) and just as the name implies, the focus of it was most certainly Pokemon! And bringing you an amazing product selection were some of the area’s top vendors like Sholl Poke, NYC Plushie Queen, Monty & Me, Surga Collective, Daedalus TCG, Fine AF Gems… just to name a few! Take home handmade crafts, pick up Japan-exclusive plushies, find a one-of-a-kind piece of crystal art (below), and, of course, get your hands on all the cards you can imagine, including the latest (and still hard to find) Surging Sparks set.
Not to mention a plethora of Pokemon TCG in general: we’re talking about booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, Pokemon Center Exclusives, jumbo cards, singles & packs, Ultra Premium Collections, and even foreign language products. At Pokemon Market, there’s no such thing as a niche collector: vintage or modern, raw or graded, you name it and they’ll have it. Who knows, you might even come across something you haven’t seen before… like 25 year old Nintendo magazine slabs:
Pokemon Market also featured appearances from Pokemon voice actors Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld, Laurie Hymes, Emily Cramer, and Mike Liscio. Meet the people who help bring your favorite characters to life and take home an autograph, a selfie, or maybe both!
And there was something incredible for you TCG players, too: the “Win A Case Tournament” to compete for a full sealed 6-box case of Surging Sparks (yes, that Surging Sparks)! It was a fantastic turnout and all ages were welcomed.
