PAX Unplugged 2024

Continuing with their 20th anniversary, PAX’s tabletop-focused event, PAX Unplugged, returned to Philadelphia with all sorts of traditional gaming goods: board games, cards, miniatures, and so much more! Taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from December 6-8, tens of thousands of fans were able to dive into gaming opportunities, join various meetups, shop for exclusives, and enjoy everything there is to love about hands-on analog games.

Hundreds of exhibitors were on-site to showcase the latest & greatest in gaming with notable names like Magic: The Gathering, Everdell, Dungeons & Dragons, Catan, Disney Lorcana, Flesh & Blood, and Star Wars: Unlimited. You can also learn about indie titles, crowdfunded games, and other up & coming projects, all while exploring the vast expo hall. Try a demo of the new TCG “Gem Blenders“, pick up one of Kess‘ exclusive game mats, see what UniVersus CCG has in store for 2025, or check out Solis Game Studio‘s new fighting card game that crosses over with Image Comics’ Massive-verse (below).

In fact, you’ll find that many developers are beginning to incorporate popular properties more & more like HALO, Invincible, The Mandalorian, and Avatar: The Last Airbender, which makes their game feel a little more familiar for new players… And what better venue to give them a test drive than at PAX Unplugged! Not to mention this year’s PAX U featured even more rooms & tables to make your gaming experience that much more expansive!

On top of game manufacturers, shop for accessories & related collectibles that will elevate your gaming lifestyle. From Rollacrit‘s Bag Of Holding to Vaikin‘s modular hobby storage system, and everything in between, find exactly what you need to take your gaming to the next level. Whether it’s paint, dice, Pokemon trainer cards, or replacement pieces, PAX U’s got you covered!

And we can’t forget about PAX Unplugged’s special guests! Fan favorite gamers, streamers, musicians, podcasters, and voice actors appeared all weekend long for panels, meet & greets, and autographing.
