Topps Rip Night returned on February 22, 2025 for a special hobby event where it’s all about Topps trading cards! Nearly 600 hobby shops in the United States alone participated in this one-day celebration – and who wouldn’t want to be part of it? We’re talking about deals on Topps products, pack battles, giveaways, and even special appearances from athletes, celebrities, and Fanatics CEO himself, Michael Rubin!

As their 4th Rip Night, Topps sent out more promotional materials than ever: t-shirts, posters & decorations, and of course the highly sought-after limited edition MLB promo packs. And in the New York metropolitan tri-state area alone, we were looking at almost 100 stores running Rip Night events all day long! Whether it’s up & coming Monmouth Cards with 6 New Jersey locations already (Livingston store shown above) or veteran hobby shop BP Sports Cards & Memorabilia (below) in Florida, NY, you’re bound to have a great time ripping with fellow Topps fans:

Always be on the lookout for specials, pull bounties, and who you can look forward to seeing at a Rip Night near you. This time around were MLB pitcher John Smoltz at CardsHQ in Atlanta, WWE’s Gunther at Bodega Cards in Jersey City, NFL’s Jayden Daniels at Rizo Sports in SoCal, Kevin Hart at Triple Diamond in Minnesota, and many others appearing nationwide! Plus an all-new way to enjoy the trading card hobby… introducing: The Fan Stand with select machines in the area operated by the Morris County Card Show, who also hosted their own Rip Night, complete with prizes and a close-up look at the All Touch Case.

When it comes to Topps, pick your poison! From baseball to wrestling, and from Star Wars to Garbage Pail Kids, there’s something for everyone in the hobby and Topps Rip Night is a great way to stay in the know with collecting and to share the excitement of trading cards with others.
