After a year off, Zapp Con not only returned to the Wayne PAL but also back to springtime! It was a beautiful day for Zapp Con 6 on March 29, 2025 with hundreds of comic book long boxes, wall books, an amazing Artist Alley, panels, and even the comeback of the Retro Arcade Challenge, thanks to A Video Game Con!
It was yet another party for the friends, family, and community of Zapp Comics (both Wayne & Manalapan locations). From 10am-6pm, dive into $1 bins, $5 trade paperbacks & hardcovers, $10 bundles, and so many other comic book deals. If you’ve been looking to complete a set or waited to finish reading a run with a missing volume, this is your chance to snag ’em! You just never know what you’ll find at Zapp Con:
Hang out with fellow collectors, surround yourself with comics, and commission artists for original pieces. While roaming Artist Alley you’ll come across names like Adriana Melo, Chris Campana, Erica Schultz, Taylor Esposito, Gary Fields, Michael Kraiger, and over 50 others! Get your books signed, discover new creators, talk shop, and pick up some unique crafts like embroidered pop culture canvases from Snips & Co.
Plus opportunities to hear from media guests like podcasters, content creators, and cosplayers. Whether you’re snapping a selfie with Darth Vader & Boba Fett from the charity group 501st Legion, or attending one of the scheduled panels like learning the origin story of Zapp from co-owner Corry Brown (interviewed by Know Good Comics below), there’s lots to see & do to spend all day at Zapp Con:
