PAX East 2025

PAX East returned to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from May 8-11, 2025 with all things games: video games, board games, tabletop games, computer games, arcade games, trading card games (TCG), and, believe it or not, even more! All types of gamers are bound to enjoy PAX, revisiting old favorites and finding new ones along the way. With exciting panels, tournaments, community meetups, autograph sessions, and afterparties, there’s no better way to celebrate the gaming hobby among fellow fans.

Mainstream exhibitors in attendance this year included Bandai Namco’s Elden Ring, Pokemon, Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering, Atari, Funcom’s Dune: Awakening, Lenovo, and Samsung, but fans are always just as excited to discover the latest releases across all categories at PAX. For digital games, JOSOFT’s Pizza Bandit (below) is a deliciously action-packed third-person shooter, Good Story Guild’s Cat Secretary is the adventurous tale (tail?) of a puzzle solving cat, XSEED introduced their Naruto Emblem Battle arcade exclusively for the U.S., and Schell Games had their all-new Among Us 3D for Meta Quest headset & PC! Even try out electronics & peripherals like console accessories from CptnAlex Designs, gaming keyboards & mice from Razer, and audio solutions from Cleer Audio.

Demos are everything at PAX and nothing gives you a better feel for a game than sitting down and playing it yourself! And when it comes to tabletop, the possibilities are limitless… test run Hachette’s latest fan-favorite Gwent (based on the card game in The Witcher 3), or Brother Ming’s beautifully & meticulously designed Re;Act & Re;Match (launching soon on Kickstarter). For card games, not only can you shop in the TCG Zone for sealed & raw products like Pokemon & Magic, but also sign up to play Star Wars Unlimited, Flesh & Blood, and Altered TCG. Not to mention opportunities to learn more about UniVersus (and their upcoming releases of Attack on Titan, Street Fighter, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Gem Blenders, and the sensational return of Overpower CCG (featuring ‘Invincible’ beginning 2026):

And, of course, the chance to walk away with freebies from Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering, just for participating in their walkthroughs! Plus so much more going on all weekend long: meet special guests like Damien Haas, Ify Nwadiwe, and Doug Cockle for autographs & photo ops, join in on console speedruns, make Pinny Arcade trades, attend epic mainstage events like Magic’s Final Fantasy debut showcase, and watch all-day Tekken at the PAX Arena powered by Razer (below).

No matter your experience level, PAX East is a gaming event for all players! So whether you’re searching for your next party game, looking for components like dice, mats, and sleeves, or simply enjoy connecting with fellow gamers, this is the convention for you.

From analog to digital and everything in between, the fun just doesn’t stop at PAX East 2025! In fact, next up is PAX West (August 29-September 1), PAX Unplugged (November 21-23), and then PAX East 2026 which is already slated for March 26-29, 2026!
