Pokemon Market 2025 (Meadowlands Expo Center)

Pokemon Market by Liquid Games evolved into its biggest and most action-packed event yet, held for the first time at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ! On June 7, Pokemon fans just couldn’t wait to get inside where 400 vendor tables, a cash prize TCG tournament, a VGC tournament, a claw machine arcade, and special guest Matthew Sussman (the original voice of Meowth) awaited them!

Just like their previous events at Bell Works, this Pokemon Market housed a slew of amazing Pokemon collectibles: plushies, vintage toys, art prints, handmade collectibles, Funko Pops, enamel pins, and, of course, TCG products! With the recent releases of “Journey Together” & “Destined Rivals” in English, the Japanese “Black Bolt” & “White Flare” sets, and the new Chinese “Gem Pack Vol 2”, there was absolutely no shortage of the latest Pokemon card expansions… Sealed products, singles, graded slabs, you name it!

It was all things Pokemon as far as the eye could see, thanks to familiar names like Collector’s Emporium, ShollPoke, Niche & Easy, Daedalus TCG, Brick House Collectibles, Death Metal Charizard, MNML Cards, and PokeFam (above). But also non-TCG vendors & artists like Pinfinite, NYC Plushie Queen, Monty & Me, Cris’ Crystals + Jewels, Butterflies In Space, Inkspire Studios, and The Rugly Barnacle who were selling collectibles such as 3D printed items, glittery pixel art, snow globes, charms, crocheted dolls, and even custom rugs:

Not only did fans have from 10am-5pm (9am-5pm for VIPs) to shop more than triple the number of offerings compared to the standard Pokemon Market, but the Meadowlands edition also hosted a TCG tournament, introduced a VGC tournament & claw machines, and brought back special guest appearances with meet & greets with voice actor Matthew Sussman! “Meowth, that’s right!”

And despite being wall-to-wall with Pokemon happenings, there was still plenty of space for seating, trades, and the fan-favorite commemorative photo booth. All in all, what a fantastic occasion to celebrate this region’s love for Pokemon whether you’re a fan of the television series, the games, the cards, or anything & everything else!

The next Pokemon Market by Liquid Games will be returning to Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ on August 2, 2025 with 150+ tables of Pokemon TCG, art, plushies, and more.
