New York Comic Con 2025

The 19th annual New York Comic Con pulled out all the stops from October 16-19, celebrating all things comics, anime, collectibles, and pop culture. This year at the Javits Center, featured guests included names like Sigourney Weaver, Laurence Fishburne, James McAvoy, Bryce Dallas Howard, George R.R. Martin, Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, and J. Scott Campbell. With over 650 exhibitors, 550 creators in Artist Alley, exclusive panels & programming, off-site pop-ups, and a Side Quest gaming hall open after-hours, this was truly an NYCC for the fans!

Not only did DC Comics and IDW return to the Show Floor for 2025, but from free signings to major industry reveals, New York Comic Con remains to be very much all about the comics: Artist Alley featured a slew of artists & writers from fan-favorite comics like Dan Mora, Creees Lee, Ryan Dauterman, Bernard Chang, Stephanie Phillips, Zoe Lacchei, Adam Hughes, Brian Azzarello… And with dozens of comic book retailers, convention exclusives, and in-booth appearances, it was the perfect opportunity to pick up out-of-print titles and even get free signatures from Gary Vee, Stan Sakai, and Todd McFarlane (below) who were all signing their Walmart exclusive variant cover comics.

New York Comic Con also makes seeing your favorite guests as accessible as possible, through both paid & free autograph sessions, as well as incredible panels, Q&As, and events all weekend long. VIZ Media hosted a rare signing with mangaka Akira Himekawa (The Legend of Zelda), VeVe Collectibles held two exclusive signings with 247 Comics’ Sean Chen & Daniel Wu for EVERMIND, and Adam Kubert made Friday-only appearances with Citizen Watch, Marvel, Kwan Chang, and Overpower CCG who revealed all-new art for its upcoming Invincible deck:

Meanwhile the Autograph Hall was bustling with meet & greets as fans excitedly waited to see Kpop Demon Hunters voice actors Arden Cho & May Hong, Brednan Fraser (The Mummy), Steve Burns (Blue’s Clues), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk), Charlie Cox (Daredevil), the cast of Agents of SHIELD (Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet), and Elliot Page (Umbrella Academy)… just to name a few! When it comes to special guests, major exhibitors, fan activations, and other happenings, you won’t find a bigger convention experience on the East Coast.

Some of this year’s standouts on the Show Floor included Sanrio (above), Bandai’s Digimon booth, Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem demo, Magic: The Gathering’s Spider-Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles activations, the Topps Disney Mint Experience, VeeFriends, eBay, Courtyard.io, and CookieRun’s Braverse Trading Card Game (below). And there was still so much more to see and shop for: Funko Pops, trading cards, figures & statues, anime merch, novels, apparel… not to mention a plethora of freebies & giveaways each day, too!

Next year New York Comic Con celebrates its 20th anniversary so you definitely won’t want to miss it! Mark your calendars for October 8-11, 2026.
