The Big Show Card Show (formerly known as NJ TCG Show) continues its tour, making its way down to the Baltimore region! This time it was a 2-day show held November 1-2 at the Double Tree in Pikesville, MD. Fans were treated to over 150 vendor tables of all things TCG (Pokemon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Gundam Card Game) and even collectibles like plushies, Funko Pops, keytags, Jibbitz, enamel pins, and custom art. It’s no surprise there was a line at doors-open!
With $10 Early Bird access from 9am-4pm, or $5 General Admission at 11am, each day was filled with huge product selections, great deals, and an exciting community atmosphere thanks to local Maryland vendors like Yoink, TCG Will, and OH-Cyrus TCG, as well as longtime NJ vendors such as PokeFam, RoRo’s Cards, ChasEmAll, and Violet City Collectibles (above)… among over a hundred others! Shop a vast assortment of singles, graded slabs, packs, boxes, exclusives, promos, and other rarities. You name it and The Big Show’s probably got it!
With ample parking at the Double Tree and concessions offered by the hotel, it’s easily an all-day (or all-weekend) affair without ever having to leave the premises! In fact, seasoned collectors were bringing their own cards to trade-in at a percentage or to use as bargaining chips to acquire something even more sought after… Kids were dressed up as their favorite Pokemon and scored freebies from select vendors… And all in all it was a jam-packed weekend celebrating the hobby.
