PAX Unplugged once again brought the latest & greatest in tabletop gaming to Philadelphia. From November 21-23, 2025 the entire Pennsylvania Convention Center was transformed into a gaming utopia filled with over 400 exhibitors, special guests, meetups, activities, late-night gaming, and so much more. From board games to TCGs and beyond, this is a must-attend event for every kind of traditional analog game enthusiast!

In addition to a plethora of tutorials, tournaments, and freeplay in the Gaming Hall, which stays open later than the rest of the convention, hundreds of games could be demoed in the Expo Hall this year. Indie developers, crowdfundable games, and a vast array of collectibles were all in great company with notable industry presences such as Asmodee, Catan, Kess (offering an exclusive first look at their Tamagotchi and One Piece: Dawn of Liberation games), Warhammer, Doomlings (featuring their Wheel of Doom to win a tri-color convention exclusive promo card), Ultra Pro, One Piece Card Game, UniVersus CCG (who recently collaborated with Riot Games to produce Riftbound, the League of Legends TCG), and Magic: The Gathering, which was celebrating the release weekend of its latest set, “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (below).

But one of the highlights of PAX Unplugged is definitely the opportunity to get in on the ground floor with up & coming games! OverPower CCG’s first tournament and teasing their upcoming Invincible & The Walking Dead cards, the debut of the Cataclysm Arcade trading card game by Mothership Games & Brian David Marshall, Cookie Run’s first PAX appearance, Solis Game Studio’s all-in-one Massive-Verse starter packs, and Dice Throne’s all-new Slam Throne… just to name a few! All the while, attendees could enjoy everything else the convention has to offer whether it’s free autograph sessions with fan-favorite influencers & content creators, or being immersed in engaging panels with likeminded fans.

Not to mention all of the “must have” accessories: bags, holders & organizers, dice & trays, card sleeves & binders, mats, miniatures, apparel & pins, DM screens, paint tools, counters, tokens, and the list goes on & on! It’s truly 3 days of a gamer’s shopping experience like no other, so be sure to bring a sturdy bag for your haul!

PAX Unplugged is turning 10 next year, so you won’t want to miss it! Stay tuned to their website for their return to Philadelphia from December 4-6, 2026. In the meantime, check out our photo album here and video recap below:
