Garden State Comic Fest: Winter Fest 2026

Garden State Comic Fest: Winter Fest was even “cooler” than ever! Quickly pivoting to a 1-day show on January 24, 2026, due to single digit temperatures and the impending Winter Storm Fern, comic book & pop culture fans still turned out for this very special edition GSCF! Once again held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, fans had the opportunity to meet comic book creators, shop for collectibles, and dig through bins upon bins of comic books.

With extended hours from 10am-7pm, collectors had plenty of time to shop from exhibitors like Nemesis Comics, Next Generation Comics, Sumo Comics, Dimuzio Comics, and others specializing in key issues, graded comics, bargain books… you name it! Along with dozens of vendors carrying a wide assortment of toys & collectibles including TCG & trading cards, vintage & modern action figures, Funko Pops, Gundam model kits, Transformers, board games, anime memorabilia, plushies, replica weapons, LEGO minifigures, and so much more. Between both the Richards and 4H Buildings, there were nearly 100 booths for everyone to enjoy at the low admission price of $10 at the door, featuring a G.I. Joe Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow convention badge illustrated by Keith Williams.

Not to mention dozens of other creators in Artist Alley including Larry Hama (above), Amy Chu, Scott Hanna, Bob Wiacek, Tom Mandrake, Jan Duursema, Nick Caponi, Charles Paul Wilson III, and George Vega, who was offering a limited number of his exclusive connecting foil covers of Skybound’s G.I. Joe #320 & #321! As an abbreviated version of GSCF’s summer convention, you’ll still be able to find houshold names, up & coming artists, and quality art no matter which booth you stopped at. Plus, The Collectible Conservancy was on-site assisting in CGC Signature Series and other services, giving collectors that extra peace of mind when getting comic books signed, or picking up commissions, for grading & authentication.

If you missed the first Garden State event of the year, not to worry! Not only will Garden State Comic Fest return to Codey Arena (West Orange, NJ) this summer on June 27-28 but also fan favorite Garden State Anime Fest for its 3rd year back at the Sussex County Fairgrounds (Augusta, NJ) on April 18-19!
