Dragon Ball is celebrating 40 years with a Pop-Up Tour! The iconic manga-turned-anime franchise has impacted generations for four decades and has grown into one of the biggest Japanese media franchises in the world. Action figures, model kits, trading card games, and video games are just some of the ways fans show their enthusiasm through collecting… and it’s all here at the Dragon Ball Pop-Up Tour USA 2026! With only five total stops, New Jersey’s American Dream Mall was the second city of the tour from February 20-22, and the only stop in the Northeast.

The excitement level was over 9,000 with some fans queuing up as early as the night before, in hopes of purchasing exclusive items in the Retail Shop. But plenty of fun was to be had with absolutely free experiences all over the Pop-Up: score a free tour tote bag filled with giveaways, participate in a sticker rally to earn a special acrylic stand, join a trial session of Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World to take home a demo deck, build your very own Son Goku model kit (below), and demo Dragon Ball: Parking! Zero to score a commemorative medal & lanyard! Plus additional missions that rewarded you with freebies like pins and stickers.

There were also plenty of life-size photo ops with Goku’s Flying Nimbus, Super Saiyan transformation aura, themed backdrops, and more. But one of the standouts of the Pop-Up was the Bandai product exhibit. From trading cards to figures & Gashapon, nearly 100 items were on display including S.H. Figuarts, Banpresto, Bandai Hobby, Ichibansho, Premium Bandai, and other key brands. Find your favorite Dragon Ball characters from Frieza to Vegeta, along with the tour-exclusive products that were on display: Legendary Super Saiyan “Manga” Goku or “Son Goku & Dragon”.

This a must-see event for Dragon Ball fans! With Chicago and New Jersey now complete, only three cities remain to celebrate Dragon Ball’s 40th: Miami, Austin, and Arcadia.
