Anthony’s Comic Book Art: The Show! (2021 Debut)

The inaugural event for Anthony Snyder‘s “Anthony’s Comic Book Art: The Show!” was held on January 10, 2021, from 10am-4pm, at the Baymont Hotel by Wyndham in Pompton Plains, NJ. Here at the show, Anthony’s immense inventory of original comic art was for sale, including pieces by Esad Ribic, Neal Adams, John Buscema, Art Adams, Sal Buscema, John Romita Jr., Nick Cardy, and other creators!

On top of his endless portfolios full of art, Anthony also put together a mini Artist Alley to provide fans an opportunity to commission or purchase art directly from artists like Larry Stroman, Keith Williams, Scott Hanna, Reilly Brown, Jeff Brennan, Rich Mecca, and Jameson Snyder. It was absolutely thrilling to see such detailed art being created on the spot!

And as if that weren’t enough, there were boxes & boxes of comics for sale, wall books, key issues, CGC graded books… you name it! This is just a sampling of the 125,000+ items Anthony has for sale via his warehouse and eBay store (see more here).

This first “Anthony’s Comic Book Art: The Show!” was also partnered with John Paul of NJ Comic Book Shows who had two ballrooms full of comic book vendors upstairs at the hotel. So between both events going on, collectors were bound to walk away with a holy grail or two!

Anthony Snyder aimed for his “Anthony’s Comic Book Art: The Show!” to recreate a little bit of the comic con experience that everybody’s been missing during the pandemic and you definitely get a sense of that, walking in! Admission is free and the next show is scheduled to happen within the next couple of months. So in the meantime, be sure to check out their website for updates and announcements!
