It was the first day of Spring and the annual Quakertown Spring Craft Fair was held outside the Quakertown Farmers Market building on March 20 & 21. With free admission to the fair, you gain access to over 75 local crafters & vendors specializing in all kinds of handiwork like ceramics, glassware, woodwork, jewelry, candles, and tons of great Spring/Easter decor like these adorable bunny gnomes:

The Quakertown Craft Fair is the perfect opportunity to find gifts for friends & loved ones, or to simply spruce up your own home! And the fact that all the talented crafters are local means that you’re also supporting creatives from the area. Many of the items for sale seemed like works of art and, in fact, there were even comic con style artists at the event selling apparel, prints, pins, and more.

Louie of Geek Boy Press was on-site with all kinds of pop culture merchandise that he personally designs so that you can wear or display your favorite geekdom with pride! Meanwhile, Japanese tattoo-style artist Shoto Khan Designs was displaying some of his really cool woodburned pieces inspired by kanji, oni, and buddha folklore:

There were also some fantastic treats for sale like pies, popcorn, kombucha, roasted coffee, hot sauces, and even dog treats! The weather was absolutely beautiful and couldn’t have been better to enjoy an outdoor craft fair. If you’ve never been to one before, be sure to take your time so that you can fully appreciate the hard work & craftsmanship put into all of the products. That’s how I came across Beach Dreamer Creations and their stunning beach-themed glasswork:

So whether you’re looking for handmade apparel or customized signage, the Quakertown Spring Craft Fair is a great way to find all kinds of handmade goods! With the great number of booths and the Farmers Market & Flea Market right next door, you can easily make a whole weekend out of a trip to Quakertown! There’s ample parking on-site and with multiple happenings throughout the year, you’ll want to check out their event schedule regularly for updates.
