The Garden State Trading Card Show debuted on May 29, 2021 with New Jersey’s best in all things trading cards! Brought to you by New Jersey CollectorFest & LazNYC, the brand new card show boasted over 100 tables that spanned across both floors of the Baymont by Wyndham hotel in Pompton Plains. And with a special Early Bird VIP hour at 8am, the 9am-4pm event becomes even more epic with opportunities to find the hottest cards in sports, gaming, Pokemon, and so much more!
At the Garden State Trading Card Show, there are trading cards as far as the eye can see! Whether it’s trading card singles, booster packs, hobby boxes, or graded slabs, you’re bound to find something that fits your interests. (Be sure to see more photos in the album as well as the video recap at the end of this article.)
In addition to the many vendors at the show, celebrity guest Constantine Maroulis (above) was there to greet fans and display some of his personal collection of trading cards. Trading card artists Dave Devries & Ray Lago, as well as Toy Hunter Steve Savino, were also in attendance!
Trades, deals, and live breaks, oh my! So much was going on at the very first GSTCS and that’s not all! Bringing a little CollectorFest flair to the event, there were also tons of non-card collectibles around too! Action figures, comic books, Funko Pops, autographed photos, and some pretty amazing sports memorabilia:
I think we all know how difficult it is to find the trading cards we need these days, so being able to walk away with an excellent haul was such a great feeling! The sheer quantity of the card selection at this show more than makes it worth the trip, and certainly makes the hunt feel worthwhile and super rewarding!
So whether you’re looking for already slabbed CGC/PSA cards, or perhaps a sealed Topps set, definitely consider attending the next Garden State Trading Card Show! They’ll be announcing details soon regarding their next event. But in the meantime, click here to check out more photos from the debut show as well as the video below!
