The Toledo Truth Teller was spreading the news in New York City! For one day only on September 9, 2025, the fictional newspaper from the Peacock original show “The Paper” took over Rockefeller Center Plaza and Flatiron Plaza with exciting fan activations, thanks to Peacock and PopUp Bagels.
Fans of this Office spin-off were able to immerse themselves in an “extra extra” pop-up with a towering Tower of Truth installation, exclusive Toledo Truth Teller tote bags, photo op backdrops, an assortment of bagels (while supplies lasted), and surprise appearances by “The Paper” cast members Oscar Nuñez, Alex Edelman, and Ramona Young!
Though the pop-up only ran from 8:30am-2:30pm at the 2 main locations, New Yorkers could catch models promoting the streaming series with prop newspapers all over Manhattan, including The Rink at 30 Rock (below), Greeley Square, Wall St., and beyond!
All the while enjoying complimentary fresh hot bagels, courtesy of PopUp Bagels, with custom “The Paper” napkins, and a 10% off coupon for The Shop at NBC Studios, too!
