From footage of his 1960s Screen Tests to clips from his 16mm films Henry Geldzahler & Outer and Inner Space, Andy Warhol: On Repeat showcases the artist’s creativity through a different lens… literally! Inside the Voorhees Gallery at Rutgers University’s Zimmerli Art Museum, experience 7 different types of projections & screens, including an opportunity to see yourself in a Warhol-inspired screen test firsthand, alongside more than 50 photographs featuring a young David Bowie, other celebrities, figures, and unidentified subjects.

The exhibition also features 9 photographs from the 1980s, including gelatin silver prints and diffusion transfer prints, some of which are on public view for the very first time as a gift of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and organized by Jeremiah William McCarthy, the museum’s Chief Curator and Curator of American Art. Andy Warhol: On Repeat, located at 71 Hamilton St. New Brunswick, NJ, is on view through July 31, 2026, with free admission.
