Super Jersey Comic Expo returned for one day only on August 28, 2026 for Super Jersey Summer Spectacular, a brand-new single-day event filled with special guests, artists, vendors, and more. This first-time Summer Spectacular was held inside Iron Peak Sports and Event Center in Hillsborough, NJ, with featured comic artists like John Romita Jr., Keith Williams, Ben Harvey, and Creees Lee, as well as a massive 9-cast member Mallrats reunion: Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Brian O’Halloran, Ethan Suplee, Jason Lee, Jeremy London, Joey Lauren Adams, Renee Humphrey, and Priscilla Barnes.
For just $10 (or $15 at the door), attendees had access to over 150 booths inside Iron Peak: 60 creators in Artist Alley specializing in comic art, crafts, 3D printing, stitched canvases, and other mediums, along with 70 vendors selling collectibles like trading cards, video games, action figures, and, of course, plenty of comic books. Dig through dollar bins, pick up key issues, CGC graded slabs, signed comics, and even complete sets. Whether your publisher of choice is Marvel, DC, or beyond, you’ll find a wide variety at Super Jersey thanks to reputable local vendors. The Collectible Conservancy was also on-site in case you wanted to get a signed comic or original art sketch cover witnessed for a CGC Signature Series yellow label!
Meanwhile the celebrity guest area was by far the busiest, as fans lined up to collect autographs as soon as doors opened. Cosplayers of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse could be found spread throughout Iron Peak… plus some comic con classics like Spider-Man (below)! Not to mention panels, professional photo ops, and other happenings throughout the 10am-7pm show hours.
