It’s officially autumn and it’s time to enjoy all the fall things, including “Unnatural Habitat”, a brand-new solo exhibition by Hiroshi Sugimoto at Lisson Gallery in New York City. Now through October 24, 2026, admire his vision of nature through photographs of various dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History. Across the gallery are 13 pieces on display including rediscovered negatives enlarged for the first time, as well as brand-new color washi paper screens.

Alongside lions, condors, and jaguars, you can look forward to seeing vast habitats like forests, deserts, and the Rocky Mountains. “Unnatural Habitat” will be on view through October 24, 2026 at Lisson, located at 504 W 24th St. in NYC, Tuesday through Saturday from 10am-6pm.
