The Bronx got to experience a “cool” show this winter, and just in time for the holidays! On December 11, 2022, the BX Arctic Comic Book Show took place at the Residence Inn by Marriott in the Bronx, NY. Sponsored by DJ Linx, this one-day show featured dozens of vendors & artists offering everything from comic books, Funko Pops, Pokemon cards, NECA figures, and original comic book art.
For just $5 at the door (free for kids 12 & under), you have access to the Bronx’s very own local comic con scene. And from 10am to 4pm, that gives you plenty of time to stock up on dollar books, key issues, autographed memorabilia, and hard-to-find toys!
Some of the vendors at the BX Arctic Comic Book Show included Coast2Coast Treasures, Street Side Anthony Comics, Whatnot streamer erod212, and Fury Comix… as well as a handful of great artists like Nate Melendez (who had show exclusive connecting variant covers) and Ben Harvey (who had his latest Marvel comics and a show exclusive Spawn x Batman print).
Many of the artists were taking on commissions to draw custom pieces for you to take home that very day, in addition to a nice selection of ready-to-go prints, sketch covers, and signed books. And with CGC authorized dealer Spineworks on-site, you also had the option to submit show signed and/or sketched books for witnessed grading where CGC will encapsulate your collectible for authentication.
