Sussex County Card Show (2022 Debut)

From AnythingButCommons, the creators of the Union County Card Show, comes a brand new trading card show for the northwestern region of New Jersey! This one-day event at the Sussex County Fairgrounds took over the Richards Building on June 11 with nearly 100 vendor tables full of vintage & modern sports cards, TCG cards, autographed memorabilia, and so much more!

Among the vendors were fan favorites JWongBoutique, Breakers Club, All Around Retro, Kev Digital Sports Cards, and even Card Hunters! AnythingButCommons’ very own Jake & Jude were also selling super affordable card supplies, 25 cent cards, and the return of their popular “Pick Your Letter” mystery slab boxes (introduced at the Union County Card Show). This time, a new option for a 3-hit mystery box was made available for those with deeper pockets:

It was a great one-day show loaded with deals on a variety of packs, promos, raw & graded cards, publications, Funko Pops, and even autographed sports memorabilia like helmets, cleats, bats, balls, and jerseys! And for just $5, you could explore the floor yourself for 8 solid hours from 8am-4pm.

Paid admission also enters you into the hourly giveaways at the show. AnythingButCommons does an amazing job curating some of the best giveaway items around including certificates good for the day with any show vendor, and prizes from local businesses like a gift basket from NJ toy & collectible shop Pandora’s Box. Plus so many other ways to have fun:

Card Hunters had a $10 Plinko game that could land you a hard-to-find sports card pack, and A&A Treasures was giving away freebies to kids at the show! Kids were also able to get FREE autographs from guest athlete Jay Alford, Super Bowl XLII champ of the NY Giants (and only $10 for adults)!

If you’re around the area and have never been to a card show before, you can’t ask for better than the Sussex County Card Show! Strike a deal, bring the cards you’re looking to sell or trade, swap autograph stories with fellow enthusiasts, and immerse yourself in an event that’s all about the hobby made by people who care about the hobby. From NBA to MTG (Magic The Gathering) and from Peyton to Pikachu (Pokemon), you won’t want to miss out on all that’s offered here.
