Six Flags presents Holiday In The Park, their annual winter tradition celebrating the most wonderful time of the year! Running on select days from November 25, 2022 to January 1, 2023, the event features millions of lights & decorations covering the theme park, far and wide, making it a wonderful winter wonderland!

If you’ve never checked out Holiday In The Park before, it’s definitely worth the trip if you’re a fan of the holiday season. On top of looking the part, Six Flags does a great job transforming the whole experience into something completely different from a typical summer trip to the park. Fire pits to roast s’mores, a Christmas hay maze, stations to pick up hot chocolate & spiked adult beverages (with holiday deals for unlimited refills), a decked out Jr. Thrillseekers section for the kids, and holiday character appearances like Santa & Mrs. Claus, Jack Frost, Snow Queen, Poinsettia Princess, and winter versions of the Six Flags Looney Tunes:

You can also enjoy a special holiday tree light show every 30 minutes where all the action happens! Grab a holiday snack like roasted nuts or candy apples, or a full-on meal including turkey legs, harvest sandwiches, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac & cheese, and more! Then walk it off with some sightseeing around the park, playing your favorite boardwalk games & arcades, riding your go-to roller coasters, and browsing the Holiday Market for gifts & souvenirs like ornaments & apparel:

All the while, holiday music is playing everywhere you go, adding to the holiday cheer! Plus, tons of photo ops with fan favorite areas like the Christmas Tree Maze, the giant Ornament Light Structure, the Holiday Craze Mirror Maze, and Polar Point (below).

Naturally, it gets chilly at night walking through Six Flags during the winter, but luckily many of the shops, arcades (where even the prizes are holiday-fied), and eateries are open, as well as the occasional heat lamp along the walkways. It makes it a lot easier to scour every square inch of the park so that you don’t miss any sights like this whimsical light canopy tunnel:

And, of course, the whole reason for Holiday In The Park… the holidays! Don’t miss out on this very thoughtful display teaching you about Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa:
